Rava Ladu
Ingredients:

Rava / Sooji (semolina) – 1 cup
-
Sugar – ¾ to 1 cup (as per sweetness preference)

Ghee – ¼ to ½ cup (melted, adjust as needed)

Grated dry coconut – ¼ cup (optional but gives nice taste)

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
-
Cashews – 8–10 (chopped)

Raisins – 8–10
Method:

Roast the rava
-
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.

Add the rava and roast on medium flame until it turns light golden and aromatic.

Transfer to a plate and let it cool.

Roast nuts

In the same pan, add a little ghee.

Roast cashews and raisins until golden and keep aside.

Grind sugar

Powder the sugar in a mixer to make it fine.

Mix with cardamom powder.

Mixing
-
In a big bowl, combine roasted rava, grated coconut, powdered sugar, cardamom, cashews, and raisins.

Add warm melted ghee little by little. Mix well.

Shaping laddus

While the mixture is warm, take small portions and shape into balls (laddus).

If mixture feels dry, add 1–2 tsp more warm ghee.

Cool & Store
-
Allow them to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container (they stay good for about a week).
